Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of structural/miscellaneous steel detailing experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla Structures is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of AISC steel construction and detailing guidelines.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or Rhinoceros 3D is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with good time management and organization.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural and misc steel.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specs.
• Use Tekla Structures to develop 3D models and 2D shop drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel to resolve design challenges.
• Prepare approval, permit, anchor rod, and installation drawings.
• Manage part uploads and releases through the manufacturing system.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with AISC standards and client expectations.
• Participate in team meetings and support project planning.
