First Bank and Trust in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor to support loan officers in processing new and renewal closings. You will verify applications, gather documentation, and ensure accuracy across systems while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires strong organizational skills, 3+ years loan or customer service experience, and proficiency in MS Office. Full-time hours are generally Monday–Friday with standard banking hours.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of customer service or loan experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Review and process loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with loan officers, applicants, and third parties to gather documentation.
• Input loan data into internal systems and maintain records.
• Monitor loan files and follow up on outstanding documentation to meet deadlines.
• Provide timely updates to loan officers and applicants during the loan process.
• Monitor maturing loans and collections reports; process Deed of Trust releases and title releases.
• Answer calls and assist customers with inquiries and payments.
• Cross-sell First Bank and Trust products and services.
