World Travel, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable & Accounting Specialist to join the Finance Team in Douglassville, PA. The role focuses on accurate processing of vendor invoices, payment runs, and strong vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate will handle reconciliations, month-end close support, and general accounting duties with a keen eye for detail and process improvement. Travel-industry experience and ERP proficiency are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting or clerical accounting experience.
• Hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Working knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Experience with travel-industry accounting systems, such as Central Command, is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and accurately process vendor invoices in a timely manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Verify appropriate approvals and ensure transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including ACH, checks, and wire payments.
• Maintain accurate and organized vendor files and payment records.
• Process employee expense reimbursements accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor accounts payable activity to ensure invoices are processed and paid within established timeframes.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including GL entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation.
