zTrip Worldwide is seeking an AP Specialist to manage high-volume vendor invoices, ensure accuracy, and support month-end close in a fast-paced transportation company. You will maintain vendor records, assist with 1099 reporting, and coordinate with internal teams while enjoying remote work options and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role requires at least 2 years in accounting or finance, strong Excel skills, and a detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in accounting or finance-related role.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in 10-key data entry by touch with high accuracy.
• Excellent keyboarding and data entry abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a customer-service mindset.
• Dependable, punctual, and accurate.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and credit memos, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities by preparing, reviewing, and reconciling accounts payable records.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements in AP processes.
• Process vendor payments via manual checks and company credit cards.
• Research and follow up on outstanding invoices and payment discrepancies to ensure timely payments.
• Assist with audit preparation by gathering supporting documentation.
• Support annual 1099 reporting processes with vendor records and documentation.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve inquiries and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and file supporting documentation.
