Zusammenfassung

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead to directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center. You will drive production and quality goals while maintaining safety and efficiency in daily operations.

You will coach and develop staff, ensure adherence to procedures, and collaborate with leadership to decide repairs or rejections based on cost and quality. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated functional expertise in Carvana's reconditioning process.
• Demonstrated understanding of reconditioning processes and lean principles.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Requires standing for extended periods; work in a environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends.

Aufgaben

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team; identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.
• Provide coaching, development and performance management; deliver feedback.
• Create a work environment that promotes communication, cohesion, and adherence to Carvana's values.
• Communicate expectations, performance measures, and goals clearly to the team.
• Prevent and resolve conflict among team members.
• Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory.
• Lead a team with the General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on costs and quality.
• Train team using Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
