Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Detail Line Lead to supervise hourly associates in the Inspection Center, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. You will manage inventory flow, coach staff, and uphold Carvana’s values in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, maintaining safe practices, and partnering with leadership to improve performance and output. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated functional expertise in reconditioning processes.
• Understanding of lean principles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; standing for extended periods.
• Able to work overtime and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day team activities; identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.
• Provide coaching, development and performance feedback to the team.
• Foster positive communication, team cohesion, and adherence to Carvana Values.
• Monitor adherence to systems, policies, and performance standards.
• Lead resolution of conflicts and ensure safe working conditions.
