Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on support for end users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The role focuses on Windows and macOS support, imaging, deployment, and end-user assistance in a fully onsite setting in San Diego.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of desktop support, strong AD and Office 365 knowledge, and excellent communication skills to deliver customer-focused service in a ticketed SLA environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop support or technical support experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Experience supporting macOS environments.
• Experience with Active Directory administration and user account management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with desktop imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
• Experience working in a ticketing system and SLA-driven environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in San Diego (92127).

Responsibilities

• Document issues, solutions, procedures, and technical processes.
• Work closely with Service Desk and other IT teams to resolve escalated issues.
• Support desktop security standards and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and licensing information.
• Provide exceptional customer service while supporting users both remotely and in person.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on support for end users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCCM, MECM, Ivanti, LANDesk, or similar endpoint management tools.
• Network+ or CCNA certifications.
• ITIL certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with software packaging, patch management, and enterprise desktop administration.
