Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting software testing, quality assurance, software development, or automated testing on technical projects.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies including functional, integration, system, regression, and automated testing.
  • Experience developing or maintaining software using one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, C, C++, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues, analyze test results, and identify root causes of defects in complex systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams and interact with customers or stakeholders.
  • Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain software test plans, test cases, and test procedures for complex software applications and mission-critical systems.
  • Perform automated, integration, system, and functional testing to verify software performance, reliability, and requirements compliance.
  • Support the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
  • Participate in software quality assurance activities including test strategy development, test execution, defect tracking, and product quality assessments.
  • Create, review, edit, and maintain technical documentation, test reports, verification artifacts, and engineering deliverables.
  • Support software deployment, fielding, maintenance, and sustainment efforts while contributing to continuous process improvement.

Job description

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting software testing, quality assurance, software development, or automated testing activities on technical or engineering-focused projects.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, system, regression, and automated testing practices.
  • Experience developing or maintaining software using one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, C, C++, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
