Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 1 - Desktop to join the Desktop End User Support team in the IT department. The role focuses on evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to improve business processes and user experience.

The ideal candidate has strong Windows and End User Device engineering experience, proficiency with Microsoft Intune, scripting, and a collaborative mindset to support ongoing technology strategy across the organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of Experience in Windows and/or End User Device Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Microsoft Intune including device, application, and compliance management.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with scripting (Batch, VBS, PowerShell).
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation, design, prototyping, testing, and implementation of emerging technologies and innovative solutions, recommending alternative approaches when appropriate.
• Assess and manage technology initiatives, including business impact analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, dependency identification, project execution, and stakeholder recommendations.
• Develop, monitor, and improve IT service performance through SLA management, capacity planning, service metrics, and escalation of critical issues.
• Provide technical leadership and consulting across business functions, identifying opportunities to improve business processes, supporting issue resolution, and influencing long-term technology strategy.
