Job summary

City of Lincoln in Jefferson Hills, PA is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver first- and second-level IT support across local and remote environments. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, document incidents in the IT ticketing system, and ensure SLAs across shifts.

The role requires 18 months of desktop support experience, Windows 10/11 and Office 365 knowledge, and a high school degree or higher. Strong communication and willingness to work outside standard hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on desktop support experience, Windows 10/11, and familiarity with ITIL/SM practices.
• Proven ability to document incidents and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software and apps via phone, remote access, and on-site.
• Log and maintain accurate incident documentation in the IT ticketing system.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Provide foundational macOS support to users of Apple devices.
• Install and troubleshoot printers, PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
• Coordinate with vendors for complex AV issues as needed.
• Support MDM for iOS and Android devices within the enterprise.
• Communicate timely status updates to users and stakeholders.
