Job summary

The City of Lincoln in Wexford, PA is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver first- and second-level technical support across local and remote environments. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and enterprise applications while maintaining SLAs and professional communication with end users.

The role requires Windows OS expertise, Office 365 proficiency, and experience with IT ticketing systems. Some after-hours work may be required for project support or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 18+ months of hands-on desktop support, help desk, or IT support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and applications.
• Log, track, and maintain documentation for incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365; provide macOS support as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues and support enterprise devices.
