Job summary

Ovation Workplace Services is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver first- and second-level IT support across local and remote environments. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and enterprise apps, document incidents, and escalate to meet SLAs.

The role requires communication with end users, support for Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Apple devices, and coordination with vendors for AV issues. Some after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent
• 18+ months hands-on desktop support or IT help desk experience
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments (Windows 10/11) and Office 365

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support to end users via phone, remote access, and on-site
• Document incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Office 365
• Support macOS basics for Apple devices
• Assist with enterprise applications and printers
• Perform preventive maintenance and remedial repairs on IT equipment
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues
• Coordinate with vendors for AV issues as needed
• Provide timely status updates to users and stakeholders
• Support MDM for iOS/Android devices
