Job summary

Ovation Workplace Services Inc is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide first- and second-line IT support in Boston. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and enterprise apps, document incidents, and escalate as needed to maintain SLAs across shifts.

The role requires Windows 10/11 experience, AD/GPO proficiency, and strong communication skills. Some after-hours work may be required in a fast-paced IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 18 months of hands-on desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 environments.
• CompTIA A+ or MCP certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AD, GPOs, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support for hardware, software, and apps.
• Document incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system.
• Install and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
• Support macOS and enterprise applications as needed.
• Assist with AV, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Maintain SLA targets and communicate status updates.
• Collaborate with vendors for complex issues.
