Job summary

1 st MidAmerica is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hardware, software, and communications support for staff across onsite and remote locations. The role involves maintaining computer systems, managing user accounts in Active Directory, and researching upgrades.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience; an associate degree or certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Associates degree or certification preferred; transferable skills will be considered.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware, software, mobile devices and communication support for staff at onsite and remote locations.
• Monitor and update system configurations and software across the Credit Union's computers.
• Oversee user account management within Active Directory and related systems.
• Research, test, and install hardware and software additions or replacements.
• Maintain documentation standards and track issues with clear tickets and follow-ups.
