Job summary

HCLTech in Massachusetts is seeking a desktop support technician to provide hardware/software support to employees and new hires, including imaging and deployment, remote assistance, and asset management. You will assist in maintaining inventory and delivering weekly reports while providing excellent customer service.

You will handle post-deployment issues across Windows, Macintosh, and mobile devices, coordinate with vendors, and support onboarding of new hires, ensuring equipment is correctly

Qualifications

• 3–5 years IT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows and Macintosh platforms.

Responsibilities

• Image and install software on Windows and Apple laptops/desktops including IMAC and remote support.
• Troubleshoot post deployment issues on Windows, Macintosh and mobile devices.
• Printer repair and installation; asset tagging and depot operations.
• Weekly inventory reports and record weekly outflows of hardware; coordinate with external vendors.
• Onboard incoming new hires and ensure hardware is properly assigned in the asset system.
