Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an IT Support Technician in Massachusetts to manage desktop/laptop hardware, software installation, and end-user troubleshooting. The role involves IMAC work, imaging devices, and coordinating with vendors to resolve incidents promptly.

The candidate should be proficient with Windows 7/10, MS Office, and Mac OS, with strong problem-solving and communication skills to liaise with clients and IT teams. Salary is competitive and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware.
Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Windows 7/10 and MS Office.
Mac OS knowledge.
Experience with incident logging and ticketing tools.

Responsibilities

Provide second-line investigation and diagnosis and resolve incidents per procedures.
Escalate unresolved incidents within agreed timelines and update tickets.
Communicate incident progress to clients and keep tickets updated.
Perform PC imaging, provisioning, staging and IMAC activities.
Maintain hardware and software inventories; coordinate with vendors and 3rd parties.
Assist with asset disposal and break-fix services to regional sites.
Coordinate with IT support groups for timely incident resolution.
