Job summary

Cook Systems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to configure and install software on IT users' desktops and laptops. This entry-level role supports rollout of new software and hardware, maintains existing technology, and ensures the mobile workforce has the tools they need.

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure and install software on desktops and laptops.
• Assist in rollout of new software packages and hardware upgrades.
• Maintain desktop software and hardware; support mobile workforce needs.
• Provide Tier 2 support for basic software/hardware issues.
• Troubleshoot problems using scripts and checklists; escalate as needed.
• Document problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Participate in testing and evaluation of new desktop packages.
• Deliver end-user training as necessary.
