Job summary

A3 Solutions, Inc. is seeking an on-site Desktop & Network Support specialist in Vancouver, WA. The role focuses on AV setup and maintenance, hardware configuration, and end-user support in an enterprise environment.

You will test, troubleshoot, and repair video/audio systems while delivering strong customer service. The position involves coordinating with event coordinators and IT teams, maintaining inventory, and ensuring secure, reliable workstation operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows OS 11 and Microsoft Office in an enterprise environment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with end users.
• Ability to configure and upgrade hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Transporting, setting up, and installing media equipment and AV tools (speakers, monitors, cameras, racks).
• Performing electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction according to diagrams.
• Developing strong client relationships to keep production moving.
• Running tests on video, audio, and signals and troubleshooting issues.
• Managing equipment malfunctions to ensure flawless events.
• Disassembling equipment and performing safe teardown.
• Inventory management for equipment and accessories.
• Maintenance or repairs on AV equipment and components.
• Generating expense reports for management.
• Supporting Windows OS 11 and Microsoft Office in enterprise environments.

Job description

Desktop & Responsibilities:

• Transporting, setting up, and installing media equipment and audiovisual support tools, including speakers, monitors, cameras, and equipment racks.
• Setting up and performing electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction according to layout diagrams and schedules.
• Developing good relationships with clients to keep production moving and to help out production or event coordinators.
• Running tests on videos, audio, and signals and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
• Meeting clients' standards by handling equipment malfunctions and executing a flawless event.
• Disassembling equipment, wiring, and support tools in a safe manner.
• Performing inventory management on equipment, wiring, and accessories.
• Carrying out any cleaning, maintenance, or repairs on audiovisual equipment.
• Generating expense reports for management.
• Support of Windows OS 11 /Microsoft Office Suite in an enterprise environment with direct interactions with the end user.
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.

Desktop and Network Support:

• Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.
• Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMAC’s.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.

Imaging and image recovery:

• Experience doing break / fix repairs on desktops, laptops.
• Install / Re-install various software packages and updates.
• Wi-Fi and VPN connections; Support of wireless devices.
• GREAT Customer Service skills.
