Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an entry-level Deskside Technician to join our onsite team in Liberty, MO. Work is performed on-site five days a week, supporting users with hardware, software imaging, and device deployment.

The role requires troubleshooting of various devices, familiarity with imaging and domain setup, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. Contract through Sept 17, 2027 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in hands-on enterprise desktop support.
• Troubleshooting monitors, desktops, printers, devices, and wire management.
• Imaging and domaining hardware experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
• Basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues on-site at Liberty locations.
• Image and deploy hardware and software to end users.
• Deploy monitors, printers, laptops, PCs and other devices.
• Maintain inventories and ensure asset tracking.
• Provide strong customer service and professional communication.

Job description

Location: Liberty, MO - Onsite at Liberty hospitals and clinics

Duration: Contract until Sept 17th, 2027, could convert/extend

Pay: $23.00

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8-5 CST (potential for occasional night or weekend work)

Must Haves:

• 1+ years in hands on enterprise desktop support
• Troubleshooting skills with monitors, desktops, printers, devices, wire management
• Experience with imaging and domaining hardware
• Basic knowledge of Windows systems and active directory
• A very basic understanding of Excel
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have reliable transportation
• Soft skills - detail oriented, can hold a conversation well, great customer service, presents themselves well / professionalism, and a go getter
• Comfortable taking a 12-pannel drug test, which includes marijuana
• Up to date or willing to get up to date on standard vaccinations (flu, tetanus, etc)

Plusses:

• MECM or SCCM or Intune
• Familiar with HP desktops and laptops
• Windows 11 experience
• Healthcare or Epic

Day-to-Day:

A client of Insight Global is looking for an entry-level Deskside Technician to work in this fast pace environment on-site 5 days a week. This person will work directly with users every day and be responsible for troubleshooting, imaging, and deployment of monitors, printers, latops, PCs, and other ancillary devices.
