A leading company is seeking experienced deskside technicians for a long-term Windows 10 deskside field support project. Responsibilities include handling incidents, performing installations, and supporting various peripherals in the Fort Lauderdale area. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience and must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Handling incidents such as software issues and fixes.
• Performing IMACs — installing software, upgrading machines.
• Providing tech support at walk-up stations in staffed locations.

Job description

M-F 8-5 or 6a-2p or 2p to 10p, with some weekends.

Must have own reliable transportation.

Requires 3-5 years of Windows 10 Deskside Support experience.

Experience with imaging, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.

Candidates must be reliable, flexible, and professional.

Responsibilities include:

1. Handling incidents such as software issues and fixes.
2. Performing IMACs — installing software, upgrading machines, etc.
3. Supporting peripherals like scanners, ID card readers, barcode scanners, credit card readers, label printers, signature pads, microphones, and RFID readers.
4. Basic experience with Active Directory.
5. Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office.
6. Deskside support experience in a hospital environment is a plus.
7. Experience with ServiceNow is preferred but not required.
8. Experience with LogMeIn.
9. Using ServiceNow for ticketing.
10. Providing tech support at walk-up stations in staffed locations.
11. Supporting IBM, Windows 7, and printers.

Minimum qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of Windows 10 Desktop Support in a corporate environment.
2. 3-5 years of end-user client LAN/network support in a corporate environment.
3. Customer service experience.

Location: Fort Lauderdale area.
