Job Description

Role: Desktop Technician

Location: Avon Lake, OH

Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day

Responsibilities:

• Provide local and remote desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
• Answer inbound calls and document resolutions.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
• Perform break/fix support, fault diagnosis, and issue resolution.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized applications.
• Support macOS, printers, and hardware maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support various platforms including Networks, Servers, AV, Smart Devices, and Telecoms.
• Work in a fast-paced, project-based environment and perform additional duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, MCP or higher.
• 18+ months of IT experience.
• Experience with Windows 7–10, Active Directory, GPOs, Office 365, helpdesk systems, antivirus, and encryption tools.
• Familiarity with mobile device management (iOS/Android) and enterprise support.
• Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Availability to work off-hours/weekends for projects or emergencies.
