Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking candidates to support our client's IT Desktop Support team in Bedford Heights, OH. This contract-to-hire role welcomes individuals from internship to IT career starters and emphasizes hands-on Windows/Mac support and strong customer service.

Prior helpdesk or desktop support is preferred, with certifications desirable. This is a first shift, fully onsite opportunity with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in helpdesk or desktop support preferred.
• IT certifications are desirable for this role.
• First shift, contract to hire position, onsite.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents (Windows, Mac).
• Swap laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10/11.
• Re-imaging Windows 11 from Windows 10.
• Assist users with IT incidents and provide timely support.
• Take ownership of issues and escalate when necessary.
• Record and update requests using the IT service desk system.
• Install and configure new IT equipment.
• Resolve incidents and upgrade software/hardware.
• Troubleshoot printers, copiers, and scanners.
• Maintain high levels of customer service.
