The role covers field-based and specialized environments, including GxP, laboratory and R&D spaces, with a strong emphasis on customer service and incident ownership. Long-term contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of desktop support experience with PCs, laptops and peripherals.
• Minimum 2 years of onsite and remote technical support experience.
• Minimum 2 years of mobile device support experience; Apple devices preferred.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of ITIL v3 processes in an IT service delivery environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on and remote technical support for PCs, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Provide 2nd-level technical support for field-based and specialized environments, including GxP, Labs, and R&D.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Take ownership of incidents and restore user productivity.
• Manage day-to-day IT activities at the site independently while following company guidelines.
• Support Apple mobile devices and other mobile technologies.
