Job summary

The candidate will use PowerShell, manage Active Directory policies, and ensure security/compliance across the enterprise. Collaboration with IT teams will be essential to meet SLAs and deliver reliable desktop

Qualifications

• 84 months experience in Desktop Engineering or equivalent field.
• Extensive experience with design, build, testing and debugging of desktop environments.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and Windows OS deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, group policy and security best practices.
• Experience with VPN, VDI, 2FA and network printing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware and software for end users.
• Develop and document architectural design for endpoint hardware and OS configurations.
• Create secure baseline images and tailor Windows images for hardware configurations.
• Support application packaging, deployments, and release control in an Enterprise environment.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate platform management tasks.
• Maintain Active Directory Group Policy and Preference management.
• Monitor and apply OS patches; coordinate system software/hardware upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure service delivery meets SLAs.
• Develop deployment documentation and support remote access technologies (VPN).
• Act as SME for desktop and service support, guiding teams on complex issues.
