Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on hardware and software support to end users both in person and remotely in New York. You will manage accounts, fix issues, and help keep trading and developer workstations running smoothly.

The role covers Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, AD administration, patching, remote access, and asset tracking. A collaborative, service-minded approach is essential, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in desktop support, help desk, or IT operations.
• Hands-on Active Directory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with PowerShell and endpoint management/patching tools (KACE, SCCM, Intune).
• Basic networking and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage Active Directory accounts, groups, permissions, and MFA enrollment.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, and Outlook.
• Handle workstation patching, remote access (RDP/VPN), and backup/restore requests.
• Build and support specialized trading and developer workstations.
• Deploy and decommission hardware, and track assets and licenses.
• Own and resolve service desk tickets, with clear documentation.
