Job summary

Diamondback E&P LLC is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst I to provide end-user support across multiple locations, delivering in-person, phone, email, and remote assistance. The role emphasizes initiative, reliability, and teamwork to resolve incidents and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities include logging and tracking issues, collaborating with IT peers to meet staff needs, and supporting users with varied technical backgrounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1+ years of IT Desktop Support experience.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience supporting Microsoft desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with initiative, accountability, and dependability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to travel occasionally.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt and effective desktop support to end users across multiple locations through in-person assistance, phone, email, and remote support tools.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and follow-through in resolving support requests and completing assigned tasks.
• Address technical problems and route issues to the appropriate teams when additional expertise is required.
• Review and update existing documentation to keep the information current and relevant.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records related to incidents, resolutions, equipment inventory, software assets, and licensing.
• Partner with fellow IT team members and cross-functional groups to provide seamless support and accomplish shared objectives.
• Foster strong relationships with end users by communicating clearly, professionally, and effectively with individuals of varying technical experience levels.
