Job summary

Modern Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to troubleshoot and resolve computer, software, printer, and network issues. You will install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software for on-premises users.

The role requires 3+ years of help desk experience, familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365. You will work in a manufacturing environment, coordinating with IT admins and vendors.

Qualifications

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve computer, software, printer, and network connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and deploy IT hardware and software.
• Provide end-user support for on-premises Enterprise Windows, Microsoft Outlook 365, and business applications.
• Assist with network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT projects.
• Maintain accurate help desk tickets, asset inventories, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with IT administrators and vendors to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Enterprise and 365 preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Technical certifications or related education preferred.
• Willing to work on Premise, this is not a WFH position

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of help desk or desktop support or similar IT experience
• Experience with Tier II phone support
• High expertise with troubleshooting Windows, Operating Systems
