Job summary

Modern Industries, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a hands-on Help Desk Technician to provide on-site end-user support for Windows, Outlook 365, and business applications.

You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, document solutions, and assist with IT projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of help desk experience, strong customer service, and familiarity with Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of help desk or desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows OS, hardware, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and with IT teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Technical certifications or related education preferred.
• On-site work; this is not a work-from-home position.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and deploy IT hardware and software.
• Provide end-user support for on-premises Enterprise Windows, Microsoft Outlook 365, and business applications.
• Assist with network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT projects.
• Maintain accurate help desk tickets, asset inventories, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with IT administrators and vendors to resolve technical issues.

• Experience with Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and basic networking.

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of help desk or desktop support or similar IT experience
• Experience with Tier II phone support
• High expertise with troubleshooting Windows, Operating Systems
