Job summary

Provident Hospital, part of Cook County Health, is seeking a Systems Analyst II (Desktop) to deliver hardware and software support for desktops, Wyse terminals, and laptops. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, deployments, and incident resolution across multiple Cook County sites.

The role requires hands-on desktop experience, familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office, plus strong customer service and communication skills. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years IT end-user support experience.
• Or an Associate’s Degree with 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and travel across Cook County.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day IT desktop support for desktops, Wyse terminals, printers, and networking devices, plus Windows OS and Office.
• Loads operating systems, networking components, and office applications as needed.
• Troubleshoots Windows platforms and provides Helpdesk support with ticketing system updates.
• Rebuilds, reformats, and reimages computers and documents activities.
• Travels between Cook County sites to perform duties as assigned.
