Job summary

The Systems Analyst II (Desktop) at Cook County Health & Hospitals System provides hardware and software support for desktops, Wyse terminals and laptops, troubleshooting departmental projects, rollouts and PC installations while delivering timely Helpdesk assistance and ticket updates.

The role requires hands-on Windows OS and Microsoft Office support, software loading, imaging, and routine maintenance, with travel across Cook County sites; a High School diploma with 3 years’ end-user support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of end-user hardware/software support experience.
• Associate’s Degree with 1 year of end-user hardware/software support experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and travel across Cook County sites.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day IT Desktop support for desktops, Wyse devices, printers and networks.
• Loads software packages and operating systems; supports Windows environments and Office applications.
• Troubleshoots OS and application issues; assists with ticketing, status updates, and documentation.
