Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services in El Paso, TX is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide exceptional troubleshooting and customer service to business partners. This on-site role requires work from the 11301 Montana Ave location and offers a pay range of $19.00–$22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include handling end-user requests, documenting issues, performing hands-on fixes, and supporting Intune/Autopilot processes.

Qualifications

• The organization uses IT onboarding and access management practices.
• Experience with Azure/AWS onboarding is a plus.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices related to access management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends to prevent future problems.
• Maintain IT equipment and supply par levels and notify the Director when ordering is needed.
• Show flexibility with scheduling, including nights and weekends as required by business needs.
• Field incoming help requests from end users via telephone and e‑mail with courtesy.
• Document end‑user information and problem details for tracking.
• Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers.
• Prioritize and schedule problems; escalate when needed.
• Record, track, and document the help desk process through final resolution.
• Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
• Access software updates, drivers, and FAQs to resolve issues.
• Identify and learn software/hardware used by the organization.
• Perform hands‑on fixes at the desktop level and configure systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and post‑resolution follow‑ups.
• Develop help sheets and FAQ lists for end users.
• Assist end users with familiarity with Intune/Autopilot processes.
