Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable IT professional to coordinate activities ranging from simple tasks to complex plans and provide onsite/on-call support to end-users in the desktop computing environment. The role focuses on timely, accurate service delivery within the organization.

You will handle end-user devices, software installation, incident response, and collaboration with IT teams while adhering to security policies and documenting assets and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365 and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Respond to service requests via ticketing system, phone or in-person.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain Windows/macOS/Linux OS and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripherals and document issues.
• Set up new employee workstations including accounts and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams on escalated issues or projects.
• Follow security protocols, antivirus, patching and data-protection policies.
