Job summary

Stefanini is seeking a Deskside Technician I in Auburn Hills, MI for a contract term role. The candidate will provide onsite hardware/software support, diagnose and repair end-user systems, printers, and peripherals, and troubleshoot network connectivity from PC to the network.

Required are 1+ year of desk-side support experience, proficiency with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Office, printer fixes, and VPN. Strong customer service and timely issue resolution are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of corporate desk-side support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting of Windows 10/11 and peripherals.
• Experience using Active Directory and Office applications.
• Customer-focused service with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware/software desk-side support to onsite clients, including break/fix.
• Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions.
• Diagnose printer and peripheral device failures and repair.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity from PC to network.
• Apply virus detection and eradication procedures.
• Support security and deployment tools such as SCCM and RDP.

What will you do?

• Provide hardware/software support services to onsite client including break/fix
• Implement virus detection and eradication procedures
• Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions
• Diagnose printer and other peripheral devise failures and implement repair solutions
• Troubleshoot network devices in order to ensure connectivity from the PC to the Network

• 1+ year(s) corporate desk side support experience with strong emphasis supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware on HP PCs
• Experience using Active Directory
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office
• Experience troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues
• Quality Customer Service skills
• VPN experience.
• Experience with basic hardware printer support
• Experience with Security and Deployment Tools including Endpoint Protection, Bitlocker, SCCM, and RDP
