Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a deskside IT support technician for a contract role based onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. The position requires Windows 10/11 and Apple OSX experience, plus end-user LAN support and strong customer service skills. Hardware installation and routine desk-side tasks are part of daily duties.

The role is fully onsite with occasional support for the Cupertino office. Compensation is hourly, with a range of $25.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and location.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 3 years deskside/Hands-on IT support in a corporate or retail environment.
• Windows 10/11 exposure and Apple OSX OS support experience.
• End-user LAN/Networking support across a corporate environment with customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day deskside support to end users.
• Assist with hardware installation/de-installation on desktops/laptops.
• Handle basic client networking and connectivity issues.
• Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and Skype for communication.
