Long View is seeking an upbeat and proactive Deskside Consultant for our client located in Midland, TX to provide hands-on on-site IT support and a strong customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT support, experience in Microsoft environments, Windows/Linux/Mac, Intune Autopilot, Active Directory, and remote/VPN access. We offer great culture, career growth, paid training, and relocation/travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Knowledge of server operations and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
• Experience with Office 365, remote support, VPN and Citrix.
• Active Directory experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support laptops and peripherals for new and existing users, following team standards.
• Provision Windows 11 devices using Intune Autopilot (no traditional imaging); provide Tier 1 end-user support.
• Deliver clear, professional communication with customers, stakeholders, and service providers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deskside issues, escalating and tracking incidents as needed.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members, both on-site and remote.
• Ensure compliance with client IT security, technology standards, and service practices.
• Follow Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and safe work practices.
• Support office technology such as printers, AV, video conferencing, and meeting room equipment.
• Participate in regional IT team collaboration to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in end-user support, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
