Job summary

KeyCorp's Summer 2027 Corporate Center internship offers hands-on experience with the Design Excellence & Operations (DExOps) team in Brooklyn, OH. You'll contribute to documenting and improving design processes across six teams, while gaining exposure to tooling like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Figma.

The program runs May 26, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with an assigned mentor, learning labs, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree with anticipated graduation by May 2028.
• No prior professional experience required; internship or project work in design operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Figma, and collaboration tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documenting, standardizing, and operationalizing design processes and workflows across 6 cross-functional teams.
• Support centralized tooling systems for design documentation and assets (Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, Figma, etc).
• Assist with team communications and feedback loops to promote transparency and alignment.
• Help create and participate in team-building and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adapt to evolving priorities.
