Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Towson, MD is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Design to Value (DTV) to lead cost-reduction efforts within the POWER TOOLS portfolio.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sourcing and Operations to identify opportunities, measure ROI, and drive executions that reduce product costs and boost margins. Travel up to 10% nationally and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Engineering Management.
• 3+ years of professional work experience.
• Experience leading design-to-cost projects in consumer products.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Experience presenting to senior management using PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead DTV, Productivity, Platforming, and Sourcing initiatives to identify cost-savings in POWER TOOLS portfolios.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sourcing, and Operations to implement opportunities and measure ROI.
• Deliver plans and drive execution to reduce product costs and increase margins.
• Travel up to 10% nationally and internationally.
