Job summary

Garver Engineering is seeking a Design Technology Specialist to support digital project delivery across CAD/BIM, GIS, and design workflows. You will help teams organize, govern, and maintain project data within Forma, Egnyte, ArcGIS Online, and related platforms, providing first-level support and promoting data integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in a related field; 3+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with project setup, folder structures, naming conventions, and digital delivery workflows.
• Experience with Forma, Egnyte, ArcGIS Online, ProjectWise, MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Power BI, Python, PowerShell, SQL is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication; customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, review, and maintain project workspaces, CAD/BIM files, design docs, GIS content, and reference files.
• Support project setup, permissions, metadata, standards, secure sharing, review workflows, and data governance across tools.
• Provide first-level user support for access requests, file management, reference file issues, workflow errors, and project questions.
• Improve repeatable processes through templates, documentation, reporting, workflow enhancements, and basic automation.
• Create and maintain user guides, SOPs, diagrams, and training materials to promote consistent digital delivery practices.
