Job summary

Garver is seeking a Design Technology Specialist to support digital project delivery across CAD/BIM, GIS, and design workflows. The role focuses on organizing project data, governing databases, and ensuring consistent use of collaboration tools for engineering teams.

You will assist with setup, permissions, metadata, and standards while providing first-line support to project teams. A strong emphasis on documentation and training materials helps promote reliable digital delivery practices.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certificate in related fields.
3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Familiarity with CAD/BIM environments and digital delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

Create, organize, review, and maintain project workspaces, CAD/BIM files, GIS content, and reference files.
Support project setup, permissions, metadata, standards, secure sharing, review workflows, and data governance across tools.
Provide first-level user support for access requests, file management, workflow errors, and project tech questions.
Improve repeatable processes through templates, documentation, reporting, and basic automation.
Create and maintain user guides, SOPs, diagrams, and training materials.
