Job summary

Williams-Sonoma in San Francisco is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to assist customers with design consultations and close sales at the cash wrap. You will promote ongoing engagement with our Brand and ensure a seamless shopping experience.

You will create design plans, measure spaces, and present proposals tailored to each client’s needs and living space, while staying current on promotions to drive sales. Strong communication and multi-tasking are essential in this fast-paced retail role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and clienteling skills are required.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate complex large orders across multiple sales channels.
• Experience with design or home decor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in store and in-home to design living spaces and drive store sales.
• Measure and assess client spaces for accurate design plans.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions to achieve sales goals.
• Provide world-class service for gift wrap, gift registry, catalog/internet orders, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge across the design studio assortment.
