Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in Houston seeks a Design Consultant who welcomes customers on the sales floor and conducts design appointments to determine needs in tile, wood, stone, and accessories.

You will partner with store leadership to maximize sales goals and grow the design services brand, while managing multiple design projects with accuracy and timely follow-ups in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail/customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice to homeowners, designers, and builders.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing design solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy and timely follow-up, with clear communication.
