Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Design Consultant to join our sales floor team. You will engage customers, conduct design appointments, and assist with product selections of tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects.

You will collaborate with store leadership to maximize sales and expand the design services brand. The role starts with a base pay, with higher starting pay based on experience, and requires at least 1 year of retail or customer service experience plus a

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail/customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
• Internal candidates a minimum of 6 months with Floor & Decor.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional design solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with timely and accurate communication.
