Job summary

Herman Miller is seeking a Sales & Design Specialist in Seattle to guide clients through a personalized journey, blending design sensibility with consultative selling to create spaces that support wellness and productivity.

You will be the face of a legacy brand, reporting to the General Manager, and driving store success through client relationships, demonstrations, and premium service. Weekend hours are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or client-facing design consultation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations.
• Design tailored solutions that align with clients' needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
• Drive sales by building strong client relationships and proactively following up on leads.
• Collaborate with the Architecture & Design community to grow brand awareness and partnerships.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure a premium store experience.
• Process transactions and manage orders with accuracy and efficiency.
