Job summary

Herman Miller is seeking a Sales & Design Specialist in Jacksonville to blend design sensibility with consultative selling. You will guide clients through a personalized journey, creating spaces that support wellness and productivity while delivering a premium store experience.

You will report to the General Manager and contribute to the store’s success through education, design expertise, and proactive client outreach. This role requires weekend and holiday availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, preferably with design consultative elements.
• Ability to translate client needs into tailored design solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Proficiency with basic design/rendering software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations.
• Design tailored solutions that align with clients’ needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
• Drive sales by building strong client relationships and proactively following up on leads.
• Collaborate with the Architecture & Design community to grow brand awareness and partnerships.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure a premium store experience.
• Process transactions and manage orders with accuracy and efficiency.
