Havenly, Inc. in the Soho Studio seeks a Design Expert who blends sales drive with interior design expertise to deliver a premium customer experience. You’ll consult clients in-store and virtually, guide furniture selections, and manage the full journey from inquiry to purchase.

The role is full-time with standard retail hours in NYC, weekend availability, and the ability to lift and rearrange displays. Proficiency with mood boards, 2D/3D design tools, Canva, and Google Suite will help you

Qualifications

• Experience in furniture or interior design with a sales mindset.
• Proven ability to deliver memorable customer experiences.
• Comfort creating mood boards and floor plans for clients.
• Tech-savvy with Canva and basic design software.

Responsibilities

• Achieve Sales Targets: meet and exceed monthly quotas with excellent service and product knowledge.
• Client Consultations: engage clients in-store and virtually on furniture and design choices.
• Lead the Sales Process: own the journey from inquiry to purchase with a personalized touch.
• Drive Sales Growth: identify opportunities to boost sales and improve the customer experience.
• Product Expertise: master details of offerings and design services to guide decisions.
• Spatial Planning & Mood Boards: assist with room design and proper furniture sizing.
• Follow-Up & Retention: maintain proactive communication post-purchase to encourage repeat business.
• Market Engagement: act as a brand ambassador and build NYC community relationships.
