Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a Designer/Sales Specialist in Alpharetta to drive results by designing custom spaces and storage solutions, while delivering exceptional customer service. This role blends design artistry with strong selling skills and leadership on the sales floor.

You will collaborate with customers on personalized plans, guide them through In-Home Designing, organizing, and related services, and work with store teams to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred
• 2–5 years sales and clientele experience preferred
• Design experience and spatial intelligence
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Maintains professional appearance and wears required dress code
• Knowledge of trends in the custom closets and retail industry
• Strong computer skills and ability to work under pressure
• Flexible to work additional hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers to design customized plans clearly
• Drives all services with each interaction: In-Home Designing, In-Home Organizing, installation, financing, loyalty
• Focuses on closing sales efficiently to build repeat and referral business
• Maintains clear communication with Managers and Support Center to complete projects from inquiry to installation
• Leads the sales floor and supports store operations to achieve sales goals
• Stays current with training, selling, product knowledge, promotions, and processes
• Maintains the custom space area and visual presentation
• Represents the brand and supports company initiatives with professionalism
• Uses company tools and email proficiently
