Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a Designer/Sales Specialist to design custom spaces and storage solutions in-store, while delivering exceptional customer service and leading by example. You will guide customers through design projects, coordinate with store teams, and close sales through expert product knowledge and a customer-first approach.

As a brand ambassador, you will train peers, maintain visual standards, and actively contribute to store initiatives, promotions, and team success.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2-5 years sales and clientele experience preferred.
• Design experience and spatial intelligence.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers to design customized plans in a clear, professional manner.
• Drives services with each interaction: In-Home Designing, In-Home Organizing, installation, financing, and loyalty.
• Focuses on closing sales efficiently to build repeat/referral business.
• Maintains communication with Managers and Support Center to complete projects from inquiry to installation.
• Leads the sales floor and supports store goals with Managers.
