Job summary

Reston Association seeks a Community Standards Coordinator to support the design review process and enhance member experience through clear communication and efficient administration. You will help ensure compliance with covenants, bylaws, and guidelines while coordinating board activities and records.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Compliance and Outreach teams, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience with 2–4 years in community association management or related field.
• Three years of related experience preferred; recent graduates may be considered.
• Certification such as CMCA/AMS/PCAM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process Design Review applications and verify completeness.
• Schedule reviews and distribute board decisions.
• Draft meeting minutes and maintain records in SharePoint and other systems.
• Support Design Review Board meetings and coordinate logistics.
• Assist non-residential and commercial members as primary contact; maintain site plans and records.
