Job summary

IPS - Integrated Project Services, LLC is seeking a Design Project Engineer I to join our team in the United States. The role provides technical leadership and coordination for multidisciplinary design projects across life sciences facilities, ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and quality objectives throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, BIM teams, and vendors, support project planning and execution, and help manage design changes,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience in technical project roles.
• Experience in the AEC, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industries is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in engineering design programs and BIM tools (e.g., Navisworks).
• General knowledge of system design and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Support project leads in resource planning and work plans aligned to budget, schedule, and deliverables.
• Ensure design compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate input for project equipment lists across disciplines.
• Lead internal design coordination and review meetings.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, BIM teams, contractors, and vendors to meet contractual obligations.
• Monitor design content for quality and adherence to design documents, schedule, and budget.
• Support design change notices including scope, hours, and schedule Impact.
• Assist in preparing estimates to complete and responding to RFIs with revisions.
• Review vendor submittals and cost estimates per agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with Document Control for distribution and storage of project documents.
• Support construction administration and issue resolution during execution.
• Assist in proposals and marketing materials.
