Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services seeks a Design Project Engineer I to join our team at a U.S. office location.

You will provide technical leadership and coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts across life sciences facilities, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and quality objectives throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires hands-on design coordination, support for budgets and schedules, and collaboration with architects, BIM teams, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience in technical project roles.
• Experience in the AEC, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industries preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in engineering design programs and BIM tools (Navisworks).
• General knowledge of system design and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordination for multidisciplinary design projects.
• Manage engineering activities and support project planning and execution.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, BIM teams, contractors and vendors.
• Ensure design compliance with safety, quality, design guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in development of project equipment lists and input across disciplines.
• Support change management by identifying design changes and preparing change notices.
